Project Overview

The International Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (IESCO), based in Malaysia, empowers poor and disadvantaged communities through education, aid, and scholarships. To support this mission, IESCO needed a professional, emotionally engaging, and multilingual website. This platform had to clearly present their initiatives, enable secure donations, and share valuable information about scholarships, news, and ongoing programs.

Project Scope

I designed and developed a medium-scale website using WordPress, tailored to highlight IESCO’s humanitarian impact. The platform features an inviting visual design, multilingual support, and an integrated donation system—making it accessible and effective for a global audience.

Key Features & Technologies

• WordPress Platform
  I selected WordPress for its flexibility, scalability, and ease of use. It offered a reliable foundation to build a rich, dynamic website that is simple to update and manage.

• Emotionally Engaging Theme
  To reflect IESCO’s mission of compassion and transformation, I implemented a thoughtfully chosen theme. Its visuals and structure were optimized to drive action—encouraging users to explore programs, apply for scholarships, or contribute donations.

• Multilingual Support with WPML
  To reach a diverse international audience, I integrated the WPML plugin. This allowed for seamless translation across multiple languages, ensuring global accessibility and cultural inclusiveness.

• Donation System with Payment Gateways
  I developed a donation process that supports various secure payment gateways, including PayPal, SenangPay, and Billplz. This setup makes it easy for donors worldwide to contribute with confidence.

• Advanced Page Design with Elementor
  Using Elementor and Elementor Pro, I built flexible, visually compelling pages. This approach made it easy to highlight IESCO’s core values, programs, success stories, and calls to action.

• Dedicated Scholarship Page
  To support aspiring students, I created a focused page outlining scholarship opportunities, eligibility criteria, application steps, and deadlines. This section ensures clarity and ease of access.

• News and Program Sections
  I added distinct sections for news and program updates to keep the audience informed. These areas help build trust and maintain transparency by showcasing IESCO’s ongoing efforts and achievements.

Design Approach

I focused on creating a clean, responsive layout paired with meaningful visuals and persuasive content. The design aimed to inspire empathy and motivate action. Additionally, I ensured full mobile compatibility so users could access the site from any device.

Conclusion

By combining the power of WordPress with plugins like WPML, Elementor Pro, and multi-gateway donation tools, I delivered a robust multilingual website for IESCO. The platform now serves as a central point for fundraising, educational opportunities, and global outreach—amplifying IESCO’s ability to connect with both donors and beneficiaries.
